Technical Sales Manager – Germany

Purpose of Job:

To be responsible for all aspects of Sales activities within the allocated regions, creating and developing excellent client relationships; understanding of customer requirements and needs; develop sustainable and profitable business volumes, technical support to clients and internally, analyse tender materials and contracts; work closely with relevant departments to develop new business and generate sales.

Key responsibilities:

  • create, develop and maintain Client relationship through understanding of Client and market needs
  • engage and maintain regular communications with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and development
  • develop individual sales strategies in line with company’s strategy
  • assist in negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
  • providing pre-sales and after sales technical assistance;
  • preparing reports for management and keeping customer records;
  • meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects;
  • supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
  • making technical presentations and demonstrating services meets client needs;
  • liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
  • prepare sales forecast and pipeline for projects within the allocated regions;
  • travel globally on business activities;
  • adhere to and comply with the CWind SHEQ Management System and all other regulatory and legal requirements

  • natural approach towards costumers
  • ability to lead within your area of responsibility
  • technical understanding of the offshore wind industry required/desirable
  • experience in offshore wind required/desirable
  • able to adapt to a fast-moving environment
  • understanding of Customer Relations Management an advantage
  • existing interest or understanding of the marine sector would be helpful but not essential
  • excellent IT skills particularly, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, CRM experience an advantage
