So you can be sure we not only meet, but exceed the requirements of all relevant health, safety, environmental and quality legislation, codes of practice and guidelines.
We maintain these high standards and continually improve performance by monitoring compliance to the SHEQ Management system, and benchmarking performance through an established audit and inspection regime, undertaken by both external parties and our in-house SHEQ department.
Full analysis of SHEQ performance forms part of a monthly SHEQ management review conducted at the highest level. Where necessary, changes are made to the SHEQ management system at management level to ensure continual improvement. And dedicated SHEQ experts work on an individual and group basis with managers on site to support and enable them to deliver effective Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality.
A competent site is a safe site! We ensure all our employees and contractors are fully competent and have the correct information, instruction and training necessary to carry out their tasks.
Through our two dedicated training centres we conduct training in accordance with the industry standard (GWO Basic Safety Training) and also complete task-specific and CPD courses. During downtime, refresher training ensures employees and contractors remain competent and safe.
